Will not give a refund - use their policy as an excuse
I picked up my online bought items in store. It didn't fit and the sizing online was missing for the length. I returned it. Then I bought another item at the same time. They did an exchange without asking me, to paypal. I came back to return it and they refused to refund my money. Even though they took it and put it right back on the shop floor. They said it was their policy. Technically they put it through as an 'exchange' even though it was a completely different item and didn't make that clear. Avoid this place and do not buy online.

Order was cancelled, funds stolen
My A&F Order 70020412614 was cancelled by shop 12 jun, I contacted with support ask when I get my refund, they made me sure that they released hold on transaction, i contacted my bank to check it and get answer that transaction still oh hold, i was waiting 1 week to release my funds but didn't, 20 jun contacted again with AB support and get answer thar they will release my funds 27 jun. AB using my funds for free, i'm not your investor. Be careful to order things in this company.

TERRIBLE RETURNS
Do not buy from this company online if you do not have a store near you to return to. Not only will the link they send you in the email for the return label not work, but they will charge you $7 for "free" shipping, and then when you bring it to Canada post to the barcode they provide will not work so you will have to pay $30 out of your own pocket! THEN! The customer service team will refuse to refund you because it wasn't their "error". TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU CAN RETURN IN STORE

I would give this 0 stars if I could. My little sister, who is in elementary school ordered clothes from Abercrombie Kids. When the package was delivered, it had "Abercrombie Pride" in rainbow colors all over the packaging. We did not order pride apparel, so please don't try to push this narrative on my sister who is in elementary school, even through packaging. I googled "Abercrombie Pride" and clicked on the first link. This took me to the Abercrombie website, which had a collage of two men kissing. What if my sister got ahold of the packaging before I did and researched what "Abercrombie Pride" was and saw what I did. If we had ordered pride apparel, then I understand the need to put that on the packaging, but we didn't. I respect that people celebrate Pride month, but please be more cognizant of what you are trying to push to kids.

Please do not order from this company they are dreadful
Order number 70019939269- Poplin Dress and Maxi Skirt. I received my order from this company and was so unhappy with it. I decided to return. This was the beginning of the ordeal. Apparently they don't do QR codes which Ive never experienced before and its pot luck if you get a returns label in your package. I had no paperwork at all. I was instructed to return to an address in The Netherlands which I did on 6th June. I was told £5 would be taken off my refund for a return. Shockingly I had to pay £12.15. I contacted Abercrombie and Fitch (again) who weren’t very sympathetic or helpful. They said they would escalate it and email me within 24/48 hours. That was four days ago and they still haven’t been in touch. Im now £124 out of pocket with no items. So disgusted Abercrombie and Fitch.

My daughter purchased an item that was…
My daughter purchased an item that was stolen from her residence (porch pirates). The thief then went to a physical store and returned the stolen item and was given an e gift card to purchase new items. No ID was checked with the return and my money was handed over to a thief. What kind of practice is that? Thanks Cheyenne, customer service rep, for nothing.

Customers are Last On their list.
I cannot dispute the fact that they sell quality items. However, recently I tried purchasing something with a gift card I won at work. It clearly said order confirmed and even gave me an order number and an expected delivery date. …only to find out later the gift card was declined when I tried to find out why my order wasn't delivered. They sent me a screenshot of the first 6 digits and the last 4 which doesn't help because when I call American Express they also need the serial number (which I don't have). Obviously if I never got that confirmation, I wouldn't have thrown the card out. This was clearly a glitch in their system and an error on their part but they refuse to take responsibility and is telling me I can't even get a gift card from their company since my order did not go through. I even showed them emails that it did say confirm. I called and spoke to so many individuals but no one seem to care. I don't think this company remembers that it's the customers that make the business. The funny thing is, I had just bought something a week ago and loved it so much I tried to get it twice. That will be last order with this company.

It will take you over a month to fight to get a return on your original payment method. Do NOT purchase ONLINE ever! First and last time I buy from this company.

Pretty good
Bought from Abercrombie multiple times. Never had any issues with them. Returns are easy and quick imo (I’m in EU). Most of the time, the clothing is of good quality and they occasionally have sales throughout the year. The only thing that annoys me a bit is that their app crashes a lot.

I would give them zero stars if i could. You will need a printer to return an item. They will not provide one, the online chat advice I got was - go to a local school or internet cafe. Shocking quality of clothes, you can spend less and get better quality. Shocking customer service, and like i say you need a printer to return an item. Also if you choose to ship it yourself, its to an overseas address so will cost you a fortune to send yourself! I dont think they will be around for much longer.

Girt card online
I ordered a gift card for a birthday present on May 10. I never received it so I thought I would follow up on May 22 I was told at first the card was lost. Then I was told that the card would be arriving June 2. My suggestion don't order gift cards online with them, I never have received any confirmation number nor a email stating that the card was even shipped. Not happy with the service and customer service did not seem to know where my card was.

Nightmare for returns
I’m disappointed that I have to write this and unfortunately, can no longer trust purchasing from this store. I don’t live near an Abercrombie, so of course, I have to buy items with the potential of returning. The returning process is a nightmare. 3 weeks for a refund, with a shipping cost of ($7-that’s not bad) I’ve had to e-mail them, to notify that my items have been returned to their department (app reflected this) and I haven’t received a refund of ($131). Customer Service agreed that the items arrived weeks ago, and instead of refunding my credit card, issued an E-gift card (expected to be delivered in 3-5 days.) it’s been 7 and haven’t received it. I had to send off another email to say I haven’t received my gift card, expressing my frustrations, and reminding them that Hollister is in the same facility, and I receive a refund within a week from them, no hassle but it’s such a hassle to work with Abercrombie. The clothes are really cute,(2 star) and my teen enjoys them, but I can’t stand waiting for a refund/the hopes of actually receiving one.

BEWARE you now need a printer to return items!
No longer provide a returns label so you can only return your items if you have a printer! This is such an awful decision by Abercrombie, they don’t even provide a returns QR code so you can get the label printed at the post office. It’s also takes weeks to receive a refund. This company doesn’t make decisions with the customer in mind, they are making it difficult to shop with them. I won’t be placing anymore orders in future as they clearly don’t want customers to shop with them.

Never encountered £5 return fund plus…
Never encountered £5 return fund plus £7 shipping cost for 1 top that I wanted to return! All in all my top was £48 and I will only be getting £33 back after all there add on costs! That’s now me done with ordering from Abercrombie again.
